Our Story
Named for What Stands Above It
Canopy stands at the gates of the University of British Columbia, on the line where the campus meets the forest, where the pace of the day finally slows down.
The name comes from both sides of that line: the layered green ceiling of the Pacific Northwest, and the sheltering form of the architecture itself. Both do the same quiet work, keeping the noise out and holding a calm space underneath.
Canopy is purpose built rental living that behaves like a home rather than a stopover. Busy belongs to the day outside. Inside, everything is designed to feel unhurried, so coming home is the easiest part of it.
Steps from campus. Sheltered by the forest.
